Buck’s tourism and hospitality businesses have felt the full force of Covid-19, however, this has not deterred some of our businesses to change their business model as a result of Covid-19 and in many cases have become the lifeline of the local community. In Buckinghamshire, many local producers, shops, pubs and restaurants have adapted to the current circumstances and have been getting renewed recognition and custom during this challenging time. In addition, our fascinating places to visit such as Waddesdon Manor, Beckonscot Model Village and The National Paralympic Heritage Centre have developed new ways for people to enjoy them from the comfort of their homes. Finally, the team at Visit Buckinghamshire, in partnership with Buckinghamshire Business First and Be the Business, have created a bespoke programme of support to help businesses survive and be ready to bounce back as we come out of lockdown.
